Becoming an athlete:
If you are interested in joining Lakeland Special Olympics Club as an athlete, please attend a club enrolment session, details in the Latest News section.
At these sessions, athletes will be asked to complete the club enrolment form, to sign the club code of conduct and to pay the annual subsidy. Persons joining as athletes will also be required to register with Special Olympics Ireland using the Athlete Participation Form (APF) (click here to download), and submit this to the club Membership Officer, Trisha Griffith. Note that potential athletes cannot commence training and/or competition until the approved APF has been received back from Special Olympics Ulster and the club has contacted the athlete to advise of a start date.
If you have missed the enrolment session for the year, please contact the club at [email protected].
